Azione Verde University (AVU), Amaigbo, has achieved another important milestone in its journey towards academic excellence following the approval of resource verification for its proposed undergraduate programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC). The approval follows a comprehensive resource verification exercise conducted by a panel of experts from the National Universities Commission. During the visit, the panel assessed the university's human and material resources to determine its readiness to commence the proposed undergraduate academic programmes.
Following the successful exercise, the executive secretary of the National Universities Commission approved the establishment of the university's proposed undergraduate programmes in the full-time mode to commence at the university's main campus beginning with the 2026/2027 academic session.
The approval marks an important achievement for the university and affirms that the programmes have satisfied the commission's requirements for resource verification. It also reflects AzioneVerde University’s commitment to developing quality academic programmes that meet national standards and provide students with a solid foundation for professional and personal success. In addition, the university is expected to offer the programmesstrictly under the approved titles and nomenclature while continuing to provide adequate human and material resources necessary for their development and sustainable growth.
